The Grove Surgery has a history of providing high quality, family centred General Practice. The current partners and doctors continue to provide the same high quality care in an ever changing world where treatment options and expectations increase year after year. For better or for worse the NHS is continually changing, from the way you phone the surgery to book an appointment to the amazing procedures offered by our colleagues in the hospitals.
Patient Online Access
Previously you may have been registered for online booking of appointments and requesting repeat prescriptions, however, from 1st April 2015, you could also apply to have online access to some aspects of your medical record. This is subject to a discussion with your GP.

The patient group is restructuring and we cordially invite you to join this group - to have your say in how the surgery is run. If you are interested please complete the form in reception.
The practice is now required to give all of our patients a named GP, who will be responsible for your overall care. If you would like to know who your named GP is, please contact the practice. Should you have a preference as to which GP this is, the practice will do our best to accommodate your request. However, you are still able to see any GP of your choice.

Trinity Care Wakefield is a group of six GP surgeries working together to improve services. This is a new way of working and each of the six practices is helping to design this service and give patients greater access to their GP. As you can see, providing General Practice for 10,000 patients in the 21st Century requires a large organisation with capacity to cope with changing demands. There have had to be sacrifices along the way and although we strive to provide a personal service it isn't always easy.
We are constantly looking for ways to improve the service we offer. Improvements have to be made within financial constraints and we also have to bear in mind the pressure for us to deliver the changes required by the Department of Health and the Primary Care Trust.
Please explore this site to discover more about the services we offer, how to use them effectively and also to find out a little about the faces behind The Practice.
